Great shrimp and sweet tea always recommend Mary Burns she does a great job everytime we have her.

Did someone say country? Well if fried squash or country style steak is something you want, you won't get any better. Everything I have tried here even the seafood was amazing!

Not as good as I had previously experienced. The hamburger steak has absolutely NO seasoning, very bland... the gravy didn't even have much taste. Only took 1 bite, couldn't eat it. I let the waitress know that I didn't care for it and asked if I could swap it out for the meatloaf, which she did. The meatloaf was very good! Their tea was pretty weak too, but the salad was good and the veggie was decent. The meatloaf being so good and the waitress' willingness to swap the HB steak out is the only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2.

Just amazing food. Down home country comfort food at a good price with the MOST incredible wait staff in Asheboro. We have our favorite, but even when she (Michelle) hasn't been there, we have NEVER had a bad experience.

I've been there may be about three or four times I have no problems with Dixie 3 at all and they got one of the best taco salad I've ever tasted taco Bell only wished theirs was that good

Food was good and served hot! Excellent fries and onion rings. Service was exceptional. Stopped for lunch while traveling. First time visit but will definitely be there again the next time we make this trip. Great food at an excellent value!

When in Asheboro I eat here at least once a day. This is country cooking at its best. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite place to eat! The place always has a lot of business during meal times so others seem to agree. It's not fancy on appearance but the food is absolutely delicious! Been going here for over 15 years and never had an off meal. The service is always great too. If you want a good, country cooked meal then this is the place!

BLT was terrible and the first soup of the season was not what I expected. Soup was watery and tasted like it was right out of the can. Soup was not hot and when I asked to warm it up it came back luke warm. Service was fair at best. Sorry but I have high expectations and they didn't meet my standards.

Good prices. Great selection of home cooking. They were a little unorganized at the door. No greeter. You just wait around then figure out that you that the next available table.

This place was fantastic! The food tasted great, the price was reasonable, plenty of parking and seating. This place does get busy so the service after the food comes out drops off a bit. I had the white fish special and my wife had the baked chicken. Both were great! The chicken was well flavored and not dry at all. The fish was fantastic! Our side we're also amazing! We both had the baked apples, I also had a salad while she had Crowder peas I think. Highly recommended! Staff was very friendly and courteous. This place is very popular with the locals, but worth any wait you might have.

I enjoy home cooked meals & the selection of meats as well as vegetables. The whole family getting a "home cooked " meal even if it's not the same & time for conversation @ the table.

The food was awesome and the broccoli n cheese soup was the best I ever had. Will be back n thank God for mom n pop places to eat. You have to try it if you haven't al.

I had the fried chicken (white meat) with green beans, coleslaw, pickled beets and corn bread. Absolutely fantastic and it only cost $7.50. Authentic home cooked meal in a charming diner. They aren't open for breakfast which is a shame.

Everything was so good and so fresh and crisp tasting. Will definitely be our to to when visiting the zoo!

Went by for a to go order and even though it was during lunch time my order was taken promptly by the young lady at the register. She was very friendly and outgoing not only to me but to every customer that was paying their bills. When my order was ready she personally bagged it an put in extra barbeque sauce. The order was for barbeque plates and the barbeque was delicious.

I absolutely love this place!! Hot, fresh, southern home cooking. Prices are great and portions are large. I have been going here for as long as I can remember. My parents brought me here as a child. Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, cherry cobbler, and broccoli cauliflower salad are my absolute favorite!!

Always a pleasant dining experience. The service is excellent and the servers go out of their way to keep the customers satisfied. Plenty of seating and tables aren't crowded together like some other restaurants. The food is tasty and arrives promptly and hot. Choose from plenty of southern favorites or their large offering of sandwiches. All this and the fact that their prices won't break the bank definitely make Dixie III a pleasant dining experience.

Hard to find this genre. Home style cooking, SOUTHERN style. There's a good reason this place has flourished through good, bad economy. I really respect that they close on weekends for family. The Davidson's have done a lot to give back to the community. Keep putting GOD and Family first and God bless.

Great food and great service.

This place has amazing seafood! I have just moved to NC and have been searching for a good seafood place. It has been disappointing until my boyfriend and I drove past Dixie III and, on a wing, decided to try it. The seafood platter is HUGE and has yummy extras that aren’t mentioned on the menu. The tarter sauce taste a little strange though. Most seafood is $10 give or take $2. Excellent service. Hulk smashes the overpriced seafood on the coast.
